Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lore AI Labs, Inc. collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website or use our knowledge service.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to the websites, applications, and related services provided by Lore AI Labs, Inc. (“Lore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (the “Service”). If you use Lore through an employer or another organization, that organization may control the workspace and the information submitted to it. In that situation, Lore generally processes workspace content on the organization's behalf, and you should direct workspace-specific requests to your organization first.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, login identifiers, organization, role, and communications with us.
- Workspace content, such as messages, documents, tickets, calendar details, questions, answers, summaries, source references, and permissions that you or your organization choose to connect or submit.
- Integration information, including identifiers, authorization tokens, channel or source selections, and metadata needed to connect services such as collaboration, messaging, document, and developer tools.
- Usage and device information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages or features used, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs.
- Cookies and local storage. We use session cookies to keep users signed in and local storage to remember preferences such as theme. Our hosting and security providers may also use similar technologies to operate and protect the Service.
We receive information directly from you, from your organization, from connected services at your direction, and automatically when you use the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, personalize, and improve the Service;
- search connected sources, identify missing context, route questions, generate responses or summaries, and enforce workspace permissions;
- authenticate users, maintain integrations, troubleshoot issues, and protect the security and integrity of the Service;
- communicate with you about the Service, support requests, updates, and administrative matters;
- understand product performance and develop new features; and
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect rights, safety, and property.
4. AI processing
Lore uses artificial-intelligence models to help retrieve, classify, summarize, and generate content. To provide those features, relevant prompts, workspace content, and context may be sent to AI model and infrastructure providers acting as our service providers. You and your organization should not submit information that you are not authorized to provide to Lore. AI-generated material may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before it is relied upon.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- To service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, AI processing, communications, support, and security, subject to appropriate contractual obligations.
- Within a workspace to authorized users and administrators according to the organization's settings and access controls.
- To connected services when you or your organization direct Lore to retrieve content, send a message, create a nudge, or take another action.
- For legal and safety reasons when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, enforce agreements, or protect people, Lore, or the public.
- In a business transaction involving a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to customary safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described here, follow an organization's instructions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it was collected. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed without authorization. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your choices and rights
You may update certain account information through the Service, disconnect integrations through the relevant settings, or ask us to access, correct, delete, or export personal information. Your rights depend on where you live and may be subject to exceptions. If your organization controls your workspace, we may refer your request to that organization. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
To make a privacy request, email hi@lore-labs.ai. You may also appeal a denied request by replying to our decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
9. International data transfers
Lore and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers. Laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
